How do I clean my room?

Well, i know how to clean my room...but do you have any tips?? I really need help on this..thanks!

Start with your dirty clothes, dump all of that in your hamper first.

Then, you have to sort your stuff as you go along: trash, stuff you don't really use, stuff you kind of use, and everyday stuff.

Throw away the trash, put the things you don't really use in the closet or somewhere, keep the stuff you use in sight, and put the everyday stuff on top of your dresser or some place where you can easily spot them.

Best advice I can give is take everything out. That way the physical room can be cleaned........carpet in the closets cleaned, shelves cleaned, windows, etc. Vacuum, scrub, clean the bed wiping down the frames, vaccum the matress, etc. Pretend you are preparing to paint the room. Moving it from one side of the room to another doesn't count.......you won't make progress. I know, it doesn't work.

Now you have a clean slate to "refurnish" the room. Put back only items that you really need or want. Everything else is trash and must be given away to charity or thrown out.

Get an early start, it's a long day's work!

Start by picking up everything from the floor and putting the dirty clothes in the laundry basket. They take the clothes out of your cupboard shelves and hanging space and sort them out. Is there anything that you dont wear anymore? Put it in a black bag and donate it to charity or if it is really tatty throw it in the bin. The put everything back neatly folded and hung up, put in the laundry basket anything that was put back dirty.

Then do the same with your drawers. Then take everyting lying around on your surfaces and find a place for them. Now you are realy to clean. Dust and polish your surfaces and then take up chairs and rugs and vacuum the floor. Make your bed and change the sheets. Straighten any pictures and dust them and ornaments. Spray your room with a nice smelling freshner and open the window for a few hours and your room will be soooo clean!

Change your bedding
clear the floor of clothes of any junk
wash the windows & change the curtains
dust all surfaces
hang up any clothing
go and have a cup of tea/coffe & a biscuit.
them vaccum and open the windows for a while for that fresh smell
god i'm exhausted doing all that i need a lye down now.
