I bought 2 cast iron griddles from Macy's (Tools of The Trade). One of them I used, I guess I went wrong somewhere, it started rusting. I have another left - but I didn't expect it to happen this way especially since I tried taking care of it.

I haven't begun using the second one, still new. What's the FIRST thing I should do? What is the correct way of seasoning it?

What do I do after EVERY use? Cleaning tools and tips? Please help, I don't want this gone too!

Just recieved a sofa and love seat set, and left them outside overnight unfortunately in rained (which wasn't in the forcast) so we brought them in in the morning just to get them from outside. Now two days later and hours of blow drying parts are still wet and the smell of mildew is outragous. any suggestions would be great! I dont want to just cover up the smell. I want to get rid of it for good. Thank you in advance!

Whenever i see an advert for washing powder it says new, improved, better ,enhanced with this that and the other.etc etc,

Does this mean that all washing powders sold up to now have just been junk. and were really useless, Or have they just made a new advert up, used the word new improved etc and really not changed anything at all.
Are the powders really improved. or is it a sales trick??

I realise that dishwashers are inevitably bad for the environment, but which brand/model is the least bad?

I tie it in knots when it's drying but the creases drop out very quickly as the silk has become very soft. Is there some thing I could spray on to make the fabric stiffer and the creases hold? Would starch spray work?

For my Marketing Class need statistic info on Windex usage, position on the market, etc.I chose it considering it's a leader on the market of glass cleaners, which it really is, but it's a family owned company and there is absolutely no information about this kind of product.

We set off some of those "mister" type home bug sprays. One did not mist, but instead resulted in a puddle of bug poison on our brick floor. Now my entire den smells like poison and I cannot get the smell out of my head! HELP PLEASE - any suggestions on how to get this odor to go away. I am concerned for our health!

My wife uses it religiously daily, and insists on the need for separate goop chemical for armpits. I insist that my Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castile Soap, scrupulously applied body-wide, suffices as deodorant pitwise as well, and suspect that deodorant is a household myth perpetuated by cosmetics industries. Think so?

The grain in the lino is dirty, however it is washed daily with dettol, cleaner. Has been down about 9 months and shows dirt in the areas walked on most recently i.e at the back door. Any advice much appreciated.
