is there really a right and wrong way to hang your toilet paper?

Not really but i like it facing down because it's easier to use that way :)

OK here it is... If you hang the roll with the paper closest to the wall, it touches the wall and contaminates the situation. ( also harder to grab.) if you hang the paper over the roll it stays protected by itself and provides an easier spot to grab for your special toilet paper activities.

are you sayin it suspose to hang out and not just be put somewhere in reach? i always thought it was a woman thing to want it hangin around. who invented the hanging thing i bet it was a woman

I don't use toilet paper, it gets my fingers stinky. I use my toilet scrubber, I dip it in the water, then brush where it feels gooey.

yes. you hang it so that the flap is overlapping the roll...not flapping down below the roll.
