I haven't used it in two days but it's still hot like I just recently used it?

The current is leaking through one leg, through the element to a ground along the circuit, the heat is generated from 120 volts and not the 230 supplied to the dryer

It sounds like you have a problem that can become a big problem! Unplug your dryer and get someone to look at it.

I would suspect a motor problem.

For your own safety, unplug it until you can get someone to look at it. A house fire would be even worse than a hot dryer!

Have you taken the lint out of the lint trap
