Is there something I can mix up myself at home to pour down my drains to keep them cleaned and freshened? Like baking soda and lemon juice or something like that.

I use color-safe bleach on my colored laundry but I finally just can't stand it. What IS it? And why am I using it? How can bleach be color-safe? Doesn't bleach... bleach things? And if this stuff doesn't bleach things, is it really bleach? Is it doing anything other than giving me something else to spend money on? If I mixed it with any of the things you mix bleach with to get nasty reactions like chlorine gas - or spontaneous combustion - would it still do those things? Or is it a completely different product altogether and only CALLED bleach because the marketers know people will buy something called bleach?

I'm confused.

How do you keep up with laundry?
How do you keep your house clean?

I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3 (4, 2&1/2 and 1). I don't expect my house to stay spotless, but i need help.

I've created a daily, weekly & monthly schedule, I'm just having a hard time sticking to it.

notice people around me sniffing and looking at me. Since I am a very clean person, and I shower, use deodorant and change into fresh clothes every day, I am puzzled and frustrated by this. I tried to come up with several answers-- 1) I have been getting this a lot when I am a little sweaty. I take 250mg. of Omega 3 fatty acids (fish oil) in a capsule every morning. Maybe, when I sweat this fish oil has a definite odor coming out of my pores? 2) I use Rogaine on my scalp every morning before I leave for work. Maybe This has an odor when I sweat? 3) I wear polyester pants to work (my job requires it) I wash them about once every 2 to 3 days. Polyester definitely has a tendency to stink. Maybe it's this? (When I take them off and sniff them they have no odor). Everything else is perfect and I can't imagine what my problem is. Does anyone have a clue?

I am in high school and live with my parents, both smokers, they refuse to quit even though they are killing me. I spray the shirt I am going to where the night before then again when I wake up with fabreeze. Today my Economics teacher said I stink, and that I am a smoker, in front of the class.
Please someone tell me how to get rid of it.

I've procrastinated so long cleaning it up, but I hate to spend my vacation doing that, but I'm sick of the mess! Any good tips on cleaning it up (loads of laundry to do, child's room very messy, think I"m gonna have to clean that up myself). I want to relax, but can't take the mess anymore. Thanks!
