I have glass shower doors and what worked well for me was the Mr. clean reach used with the scrubbing pads in the orange package.

Believe it or not use Oven Cleaner. You know the spray kind. You can get it at walmart for cheep. Srapy it on and let it sit for about 10 minutes. This will not damage your surface. I live in a mobile home and have plastic shower walls and tubs this works great. Once you have got the hard water spots off take shaving cream and rub into glass make sure you wipe it off after 20 minutes or so. This prevents hard water stains and keeps windows and bathroom mirrors from fogging up. I know it sounds strange but it really does work. Good luck and happy cleaning

Try SCRUBBING BUBBLES bathroom cleaner with a scrubby type padded sponge. Rinse the sponge often. Also try DAWN dishwashing soap with the sponge. Another product I love is SCRUB FREE.

vinegar works wonders on water spots. RainX--the stuff you use on car windshields also helps to keep doors free of water spots after you clean.

Ammonia works well. Just make sure that you do not mix it with any other cleaner. Many other cleaners contain bleach, and you must NEVER mix bleach and ammonia.

Someone told me that WD40 works for that. Sounds strange but give it a try.
