I have this suitcase that a friend of mine gave me and she smokes. Well, the inside of it smells really bad of smoke and i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I could eliminate that smell?

Put a dish of baking soda in it and leave it there for a few days, then change the baking soda. Do this until the smell is gone.
I used this method on a wooden breadbox made of beech. It smelled so bad of the wood, that the bread and cookies inside it picked up the smell. It took me a few weeks before I realized that baking soda might work, and it only took about three days and three changes of the baking soda to get rid of the wood smell completely. It worked great.

Try using the newest type of febreeze. We used it for smoke elimination and it worked really well. Good Luck!

Let it air out outdoors and if you have some kind of spray spray the inside and all over.

Febreze air freshener. You can find it in most stores. Or any kind of air freshener you have on hand.
If you have some kind of all purpose cleaner (Pine Sol or something) mix it with equal amount of water and spray it all over.

If you don't have any kind of freshener. You can mix lemon juice and water.

Put a cup of unused coffee grounds in a cup and leave it in the suitcase overnight.

Fabreeze, I hope I spelled it right. It works quite well getting rid of odors. You could wash it down and put it open out in the sun to help.
