Are there any other Flyladies on here? Just wondering if anyone else actually sticks to the zones, or if it's just me being obsessive compulsive (for once!).

My girlfriend only uses bleach when doing her whites. She said since bleach kills everything-that washing powder is not effective on top of the bleach. Do you agree??

You know those small humidifiers that you put in kids' rooms when they are sick? Ours keeps getting this reddish mold (?) or something in it. I've cleaned off what I can get to and run it through with some vinegar mixed in with the water, but I can't get rid of it. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

My niece gave me a brand new play seat thing for my baby. She never put her baby in it & left it outside. Yes, it was brand new and she did not appreciate it! The seat has mold or mildew on it (which ever one it would get from being outside in the rain). I have soaked it bleach, real bleach, not generic, and it hasn't come out.
Should I keep trying to get it out or just throw it away?

I have a dog and a cat. NO allergies, just want to cleanse the air in my house.

I'm really interested in hearing about the air purifiers with the IONIC technology that emits negative (positive? i don't know) ions into the air.

Anyway, which air purifiers, if any, work well and cost little to operate (i.e. replacement filters, etc.)

((Personal experiences plz))

The wax leaked out and puddle collected on the floor. It's a finished (many years ago) oak floor. The wax has been there over six months.

It would be great to have some different methods suggested and I open to give 'em a try.

Thank you for your help.

Today after coming from work I decided to wash my clothes.I live on the 3rd floor and the laundry is exactly next door to my apartment. Actually, I had to go to the second floor because the washing machine is broken on my floor. Only the dryer is working. Well, anyway someone was using the washing machine so I decided to leave my dirty cloths and when I returned to see if the washing machine was available someone had been through my clothes as if they was digging dirt from the ground. Also my liquid detergent was spilled on the floor which was in a cap in my laundry. I think that was very nasty to go through someone dirty cloths. I will never leave my clothes in the laundry again. I hope they break out with something for touching my cloths. Sad to say.

I am looking to buy a new upright vacuum. What is the best one out there on the market currently? I vacuum my home frequently (including a staircase). I have a very heavy upright vacuum currently and it is hard to drag up the stairs so I am also looking for a lighter vacuum! Anyone who has bought a new vacuum this year, please respond whether or not you had a good experience with your vacuum please!
Thank you very much!

Its got a big plastic container on top that holds the water. everywhere online it says it "easy to clean" but i can't figure out how to clean it! Its disgusting, but i can't figure out how to get in there and get algae out. I don't want my dog to have to drink water from something thats tinged green... Any ideas?
