She is a professional mime so I should say substitute the word mascara with mime face paint.

Laura mercier foam cleanser. I am a makeup artist and it works fantastic for removing make up off clothes.

Check for it at Macys or Nordys.

Good luck

I'd say start with makeup remover or whatever she uses to remove the face paint from her own skin.

Peroxide might work too, but test it first because if the garment is not white, it might bleach it.

If that doesn't work then you can try the other suggestions.

I find treating stains BEFORE washing them to be best. Read labels both on the clothes and if possible, on the makeup packaging!

In general, wash in warm, not hot. If it doesn't come out all the way, don't put it in the dryer until you've gotten it all out or you decide to stop trying!

If the garment is stained beyond repair, you might consider dying it.

Good for you helping out with your girlfriend's laundry.

I say in relationships, each person should pitch in and help out as they are able.

But if you're apt to ruin laundry or burn food, unless you can afford it, you should be careful around those tasks until you've had more practice! On the other hand, using incompetence as an excuse to try to avoid work is just lame.

I am better at laundry so I do most of it for now. When we're both working full time my husband pitches in more around the house.

We both find work (either around the home or outside the house) rewarding because we know it's necessary and so don't avoid it!

If your relationship is like that, you and your girlfriend are both fortunate people. When it gets out of balance (one person contributing more than the other) is when you have to worry.

Use Oxy Clean. If it doesn't come out after the first wash, soak it.
I've used it on really stubborn stains like blood, ink, grease, etc. and can't complain. GOOD LUCK.
