My niece gave me a brand new play seat thing for my baby. She never put her baby in it & left it outside. Yes, it was brand new and she did not appreciate it! The seat has mold or mildew on it (which ever one it would get from being outside in the rain). I have soaked it bleach, real bleach, not generic, and it hasn't come out.
Should I keep trying to get it out or just throw it away?

try spraying bleach on it one more time and let it sit then take some sos pads and start scrubbing it should come off.. but make sure you wear gloves..the sos pads alone should remove mold..but the bleach will loosen it up and kill all the germs..

If you have soaked it in bleach, then whatever mold or mildew was there is gone now.

What's left is simply the stain. If it hasn't come out by now, it's not going to. You might look for a cover for the seat, if you don't want to look at the stains...It should also be fairly simple to use iron-on transfer from your local fabric store, to cover it with a fabric that's more to your baby's liking.
