notice people around me sniffing and looking at me. Since I am a very clean person, and I shower, use deodorant and change into fresh clothes every day, I am puzzled and frustrated by this. I tried to come up with several answers-- 1) I have been getting this a lot when I am a little sweaty. I take 250mg. of Omega 3 fatty acids (fish oil) in a capsule every morning. Maybe, when I sweat this fish oil has a definite odor coming out of my pores? 2) I use Rogaine on my scalp every morning before I leave for work. Maybe This has an odor when I sweat? 3) I wear polyester pants to work (my job requires it) I wash them about once every 2 to 3 days. Polyester definitely has a tendency to stink. Maybe it's this? (When I take them off and sniff them they have no odor). Everything else is perfect and I can't imagine what my problem is. Does anyone have a clue?

The question is, do they look at you funny on your way to work or just from it? If not to, then you may have a sweaty odor. You are right, taking fish oil can make you smell bad. Get an extra pair of pants and wash your clothes more often so you always are wearing a fresh pair.

Unfortunately, both (1) and (2) could be a culprit here. If you insist on taking the capsule every day, there's really no way to prevent this. However, there are other ways to get your daily dose of Omega3 fatty acids. Perhaps you should give them a try instead.

Also, I've heard complaints from others about the Rogaine odour when their scalp becomes wet. Obviously, when you sweat, the pores on the top of your scalp will also perspire. I do not believe Rogaine has a fix for this as yet. However, I'm sure they have tips on their website that could help minimize the effect.

Polyester shouldn't stink unless it's been soiled and unwashed for some time. 2 to 3 days for polyester between washes should be fine, unless your job is particularly dirty. This shouldn't be your issue here.

I hope this helps!

Well as a female, I have taken High doses of fish oil for years, and those damn men still get to close for comfort!!!!!!!
I know that a quality fish oil has no problems!
At my age I kind of wish it did!!!
Rogaine I have NO experience with, except I find that most men who are bald have a higher sexual drive and for me! To look at a shiny head is a sexual turn on! No matter what the age is! and I should be ashamed because if the guy is 30...two years younger than my daughter, well, shaved head! he is still a hottie!

So maybe stick to the Rogain if you don't want woman of any age hitting on you!

Actually I think you are having a personal despondency problem! You are despondent about some UN changeable aspect of your life and need to fix it once and for all

I would buy extra pants and always wear clean clothes on a clean body everyday. If you notice this is still happening, I would actually call your doctor for advice. This could be some kind of weird chemical reaction inside your body to something you are eating or something that is in the soap, detergent, or others you use that is coming out after many hours each day. Good luck to you.

No it sounds like you have covered all bases. There is an odourless fish oil you can get but I don't think that's your problem. Maybe if your using different soaps, deodorant etc the combination of smells are having a bad combined effect. Or maybe they are just too strong.

Well, u can use MBK P.O powder from indonesia. U can buy it from any jamu stores at Joo chiat Complex ground floor. U just have to put it at ur armpits when going to work and hey PRESTO! It works! So far...few of my loved ones have tried... and I hope it worked for u. It costs only $2 for a box of 10 packets I think. It is similar to talcum powder. It works better than deodorant and i will not darken ur armpits! Good luck!

Maybe you're just paranoid. When on a crowded subway it can be anybody (can be the homeless man all the way on the other side of the car). If it bothers you that bad, ask someone you trust to do a sniff test on you when you feel like this.

Do you have a dental problem? Tooth decay or gum disease will give you a horrible breath. Do your co-workers look at you the same way the others do? Ask a friend or family member for their honest answer. If there is no problem, quit looking at people in the subway. It isn't you that has the problem.

All I can think of is perhaps your deoderant isn't working as effectively as you would hope. You may want to try a different one that is BOTH an antiperspirant and a deoderant. You have to watch....some deoderants are only one or the other. And also when you shower, use an antibacterial soap. Try that and see what sort of results you get. Hope it helps.
