I have a bissell powerwash and it is brilliant. Washes, lifts your pile on your carpet, leaves it scotchguarded and then dries it for you too, You will be amazed at the amount of dirt itgets out of your carpet. You can also use the machine to clean your sofas, car interior etc as well. Not cheap to buy initally but well worth the expense.
