STEP 1: Saturate the ink stain with hair spray.
STEP 2: Allow the stain to fully dry.
STEP 3: Mix a solution of one part water to one part white vinegar.
STEP 4: Pour the solution on the stain.
STEP 5: Brush the area lightly with a medium-bristle brush, preferably a toothbrush.
STEP 6: Continue brushing until the stain is gone.
STEP 7: Blot the area with a dry, white cloth.
STEP 8: Mositen the area with water.
STEP 9: Blot again.
STEP 10: Allow to dry.
Tips
Always test the cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous part of the carpet before using on a large area.
Brush from the outer edges of the stain inward to prevent the stain from spreading.
Use a white cloth rather than a colored one to prevent any dyes from coming off on the carpet.

Rubbing alcohol. Keep saturating a paper towel and absorb it up with that. Then just use a little mild soap and water and rinse well
Forgot to add, depending on how big a hurry you are in, there's also a wonderful product called Goop, it's what mechanics use to wash the grease off. You can buy it in a grocery store. I once had a roofer track aluminum roof paint all over my carpeting when he came in to use my phone - obviously before the days of cell phones - I let it sit an hour and the paint( silver) came out of my gold carpeting. It will set you back about $3.00. Rubbing alcohol, most places 49 cents.

Hairspray is the best for ink. You could also try salt (put some on and leave overnight).
