Rub with an ice cube to stiffen the gum. Once it is stiff, you should be able to pry it off.

I know that WD40 smells but it is an excellent chewing gum remover. Don't spray it on your leather, just spray a little on to a rag or tissue and tab the gum still soft. It will just wipe off with a clean tissue after. Use soap detergent to remove the odor.

Ice, put ice on it. When its cold it hardens and will chip right off. God Luck it worked for me.
