I have used numerous brands of Vacuums, all of which seem to just last me a year, and then stop working. Anyone know if spending extra money on an expense vacuum makes the difference? Any recommendations?

my father always has said "you pay for what you get" it's no different when it comes to vaccuums. yes it is definitely worth it to go with a pricier vaccuum.

Definitely NOT the overpriced overhyped Rainbow.

Miele, hands down. It is the absolute top of the line of vacuums. You'll pay through the nose for it, but it will be with you forever. And it's a canister vacuum, which bugs some people.

Kirby!
Hands Down. Grandfather patents. 5 times the airflow and suction. The Kirby will pay for itself over and over and over.
Health costs, wear and tear on your carpet and buying new vacuums every 2 years. See if your vacuum can pull dust mites out of 12 inches of foam.

If you haven't tried the Hoover Fusion, try it. It has great suction and works wonders. It costs under $100 at Wal-Mart. Many say that Dyson is the best but the Hoover Fusion is just the same.

The big green clean machine.
It can be used for house chores as well as ur car.
Removes dust mites and all germs and dirt.
And it only uses water to clean , no harmful detergents required.
It's economical and it does the job right.
