i don't really want to go out and buy a cleaning solution, so if there's any home remedies, that would be great.

I have tried those sheets and they do make the clothes smell better but they reduce absorbancy and don't seem to freshen the dryer.

My husband insists that I fold his men's briefs for him in a tri-fold. I could understand boxers, but briefs? Do most people fold their underwear this way?

I'm an adult living with my Mother and we live in a very large, old house with tons of antiques that collect dust. When my parents were together when I was a child, we had a housekeeper. However, I my Mom and my sister and I did housework and yardwork as well. I'll admit that I'm lazy but I'm a little bit more overwhelmed. I can't expect my 66 yr. old mother to do all this and we can't afford help right now. Oh, did I mention we have a large yard with tons of trees and about a million leaves that need raking? The house is getting really gross and dusty and I'm a nervous wreck, please give me suggestions and don't tell me to get off my lazy you know what or I'll report you. Please help.

My apartment is a mess. I just can't keep it clean. It's disgusting. I can barely walk through it and I still have stuff in boxes and bags from when I moved in LAST YEAR. I don't have much time off from work. Just a couple of hours at night and 4 hours on Sunday away from the office. I'm exhausted from work, too. But..even when I have had it clean, It only stays that way for a couple of days!!!! I'm miserable with it like this!

I dyed my hair brown the other night. The next day I found a streak of dye on my very white bathroom door. Do you know how I can get this stain out?

Simply the washing on its own does not get rid of the stain of perspiration and rubbed off antiperspirant. Anyone tried anything? It is a shame to bin a shirt simply because it went a bit white and crusty under the arm.

My apartment is a disaster. I work nearly 70 hours a week and it just keeps getting messier and messier. I can barely walk through my livingroom, I always have dishes dirty, and I still haven't decorated. I've lived here for a year now. I have very little time and i just cannot get motivated. Any ideas?

I have just done the washing and had a pair of silk black trousers and a few yellow and white tops in as well.

My trouser has NEVER run before so i thought it would be fine but it has run into my yellow and white tops :'(
What am i going to do?
All my new vibrant tops have now turned into a muddy white and yellow colour.

Does anyone know how to get the vibrant yellow and white colours back before it stays a permanently muddy colour??

How to shake the dust of carpets without being covered in it?

I often have to get rid of the dust on a small carpet (about the size of two or three car carpets, used for shoe covering)

Anyways it really annoys me when the dust goes all over my face. Any personal suggestions or experiences with fixing this?

Thanks
