From what I've seen on cooking shows take a stainless steel item and rub it over your dry hands. The onion scent molecules are very small and attracted to the metal.

Couple things you can try.

First, do you have a real silver spoon? If so, hold it in your hand while running the tap water ovre your hand holding the spoon. This can help deodorize a hand that has had garlic juice on it, but I don't know if it will work for an onion stained hand.

Second, pour a little white vinegar on your dry hands. Rub it all over your hands until they are wet all over with it. Then wait a few seconds (not too long) and wash it off. That's whatI do.

Hope this helps.
