I am planning on buying new furniture to my room. I found a really cool furniture set with two night stands, a bed, and a mirror attached dresser. I really like the desk i have because its fairly new, and its really big. Can you paint it? How do you do so? And what paint can you use?

My four-year-old son thought that he'd be funny and hang on the door knob of his bedroom door. In doing this, he has stripped all the hinge holes. What is the best way to repair these holes so that I can still be able to screw the hinges back in and utilize the same door? I don't want to have to replace the door. If it matters, it's a solid door; not one of the hollow ones.

I might move into an apartment with a tiny bedroom. It has thick carpet. Anyway to make the room seem larger? Also the sides tend to angle a certain way, so its not perfectly square or rectangular

I have the spot picked out and the template ready. But I have a question about creating the cut through the panel section of the door.

Please see picture at link: http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/139c0eabb2.jpg

Should I first fill in the area on the panel section with some putty type material so that when I make the cut and install the pet door it will still be sealed?

I just don't want to have a open gap at the side and top of the pet door.

Any suggestions?

This is my opinion. We can clean up the water, build a water system to have clean water, have no coal plants, recycle gold, bricks, hays, paper, bottles, cans, boxes, shoes, steel, and plastic containers too. We can finally build factories to recycle these items. What do you think?

I am having a concrete pool installed in my backyard. The pool builder asks me to pay for the construction in phases, like initial excavation, frameout, pouring of the shell, installation of electrical, etc. They dug last week and started some of the plumbing work (laid out PVC and placed skimmers and drains), and they want the first payment. What should I look for in terms of the excavation and plumbing of the pool to ensure that they did it right?

Thanks!
