I am having a concrete pool installed in my backyard. The pool builder asks me to pay for the construction in phases, like initial excavation, frameout, pouring of the shell, installation of electrical, etc. They dug last week and started some of the plumbing work (laid out PVC and placed skimmers and drains), and they want the first payment. What should I look for in terms of the excavation and plumbing of the pool to ensure that they did it right?
Thanks!

Here are some more details: they have just dug my pool and put in the "bones" of the plumbing, they have not poured any concrete. I need to make sure that the excavation and initial plumbing work looks good at this point. Thanks!
