What does an upside down red triangle symbol on an electrical outlet mean? An electrician just put in some new outlets and I hadn't noticed until now. What does the symbol mean?

Ok my floors were just completed and they turned out great. They are red pine. My question is I like the butcher block countertops but will that be too much wood in the kitchen? Any suggestion on cabinet color and countertop color that will look best with the floors? The appliances are stainless. Thanks for the help.

I am having a problem cleaning windows without streaks these days.I use vinigar and water and a dash of dawn and they still streak. I don't know if it is the paper towel maybe it has a lotion in it I have used Viva and bounty but it is worse when I use windex and the streak free kind doesn't help[ at all either.. The best performance I do get is wiping with newspapers. What does anyone have to suggest to help me. I did find a glass cleaner that works pretty well but still streaks. I DON'T want streaks. Help me if you can? Thanks

Do you know of any covers or kits you can buy to do this. I can fix the inside easy enough with drywall and plaster. The outside is made of aluminum.
Thanks very, very much!!

I just bought 2 oak cabinets. They dont match all my other cabinets. Is there a way to add a top coat of glaze or something to darken them. I need to do this without sanding or stripping. Is it possible?

I know it should be obvious but... I want to try and keep these clothes pretty good. I'm going to wash them delicate cycle with cold/warm water and hang to dry... anyways...

Colors of shirts: black, brown, grey, beige, olive green, light blue with light brown stripes, white.

What's the best way to group these? I realize white should probably be by itself but can I group black/brown/grey? Should beige/olive/light blue go together? See what I mean? It may not matter that much but I just want to try.

Thanks for your help!

I live in a cool, temperate, alpine region. The soil is too poor and rocky for a vegetable garden (I grow herbs in that bed instead).

I have a large verandah that gets full sun for most of the day and is very sheltered, so I was hoping to grow some vegetables in big tubs and planters along it.

Any suggestions from experienced gardeners? Most vegetables will grow here, unless they are tropical or subtropical.

the gate so that it doesn't lean on the top? We have tried adding support boards, reinforcing the hindges, and even lifting up the whole left side of the gate and drilling new holes. The left side is the problem side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Web sites that have step by step instructions with video or at least pictures will be great. At the least, if we can't fix this ourselves because we aren't the "handy" type people...who would we call and about how much are we looking at to reinforce one side of the gate? Thanks.

We just moved into a new apartment and now we have cable tv cords along several walls. What's the best way to hide them, or make it look cleaner? We would prefer a method that does not require putting holes in the wall to anchor them down.

In my room, three of my walls are a green color, but one is a bit darker than the others (Temptation and Fresh Pear from the Valspar paints) should I go with lighter one or the darker color? I was thinking of using just regular fabrics, not real drapes. Thank you so much for your help!

I have a gas chainsaw that dies after I start it. It will run a few seconds and then dies. I changed the spark plug, changed the gas (40 to 1). Cleaned the air filter. What next? Thanks.

I'm moving within the next 2 months to South Carolina and have been focusing on Hilton Head. Today I thought to just scope out the area of Myrtle Beach online and I realized how much cheaper it is... Does that reflect the quality of the area?? I'm young, so I don't mind if it's more fast paced, etc. But I do want to be living in a NICE area. Any input would be helpful, since I've never been to either area. Thanks so much!

I always try to keep my bedroom tidy but I'm on tour at the moment and whenever I come home I dump a bag on my bedroom floor, and any letters and books, clothes, accessories and general bits of paper, end up all over my dressing table, and floor (because I'll lay it all out on my bed with the intention of sorting it then shove it all on my floor for sleep). There MUST be a system to avoid getting a build-up of crap and I know the easy solution is to tidy as I go but whenever I'm at home it's only for a few days before I'm off touring again and I'd rather not spend my time hanging clothes and filing!
Help!

Well I bought some sheet sets today at Target and I tend to be in a comfort zone there that I didn't spend like at Macy's and yet I didn't go to something cheap like Family Dollar. So I was wondering though if they were of good quality and last.
