have you noticed that there are a lot more detergents than there are dryer sheets? I don't find that the scent lingers on the clothes anyway, so it really doesn't matter to me.

I smoke, so I can't smell my laundry anyways. I just buy whatever is on sale....right now I have lavendar scented detergent and spring blossom scented sheets...close enough.

I would NEVER use detergent or dryer sheets with any scent. Remember: clean as no smell. Just go outside and smell fresh air...no smell....just refreshing.
