In my room, three of my walls are a green color, but one is a bit darker than the others (Temptation and Fresh Pear from the Valspar paints) should I go with lighter one or the darker color? I was thinking of using just regular fabrics, not real drapes. Thank you so much for your help!

I'd go with the darker - but how about pattern. What makes you feel good inside? This room is your haven, a place away from the rest of the world and just for you. Find a fabric that makes you feel good when you look at it - that's the one !!!

Whatever the color of the wall where your window is--use the opposite color. In other words, if the window wall is the dark color, use lighter color curtains.
You can find many pretty fabrics at Joann Fabrics. Maybe even a print.

I wouldn't get too matchy. Matching the pattern in a print to the paint color would be okay, but usually either a contrasting or complementary color is better for curtains. Like a very pale green, a peal gray, white, cream, etc.

Well.... It depends on where you put them. Lighter colors on the darker part of the room. Darker colors on the lighter part of the room.

I like lighter colors. You may want to consider a cream, white or gray/green as well.

what color wall is the window on? you might want to go with the opposite unless it is on the darker on
