It sounds to me like it is doing exactly what it is designed to do.
When you AC operates, it takes water out of the air, reducing the indoor humidity, That water HAS to go somewhere. It is drained outside.
That is great! cool DRY air is far more comfortable and more economical to produce than COLD WET air.
If it is draining the water to a location that is not desirable, you should find a way to redirect it to another, more desirable location OUTSIDE of your house.

i'm not an air conditioner technician, yet what I discovered while i became into changing an air conditioner in my homestead, the evaporator has 2 condensation drain lines, one being greater than the different. The decrease one being the main important drain and became into to be routed to an not definitely seen place, or linked to the residences sewer gadget. the different (greater) one, the secondary drain became into to be routed to an fairly conspicuous place so as that if water got here out of it the home proprietor could at recent word, and comprehend that the main important condensate line became into stopped up. It supplies the home proprietor time to bathe the main important drain line out before harm is performed. overlook approximately it, and the secondary drain stops up the condensate won't have a place to pass and finally leak down by using the ceiling. i could propose you examine the main important drain line in case you are able to verify which one it is to confirm that is not obstructed. stable success

if it's pouring out, your AC is working great, and there is a lot of humidity in your house.
this condensation is actually created in your plenum in the house, but is drained or pumped to the outside.

the warmer the inside air,or the more you run the system ( opening doors, showers,or trying to keep it 60 degrees) the more your line will condensate,,, actually as long as its flowing , its a good sign and sounds normal....... Unless its hooked up to another drain like a water heater expansion valve or a sump pump
