I have to decorate a Christmas tree according to the theme Coffee and Tea and Good Friends. Any ideas, like coffee bean garland or anything like it appreciated.

I have seen tea samplers that have each different flavor in a separate package of 5. Get the sampler, tie a red ribbon around each packet and tie it to the tree. You can also get a variety of pretty espresso cups to hang from the sturdier branches. I have also seen "flavored coffee spoons" (a spoon coated with a flavoring that you stir into your coffee) that you could hang. It would be really hard to string coffee beans, but you could glue 5 or 6 of them in a spoke wheel pattern (or stars or flowers), & tie a ribbon through them to hang. Or glue coffee beans all over those styrofoam balls with some pretty beads here and there. Lastly, tie cinnomon sticks together to hang. That sounds so fun, I might do it myself this year. I liked a lot of the ideas above too.

Have fun!

Is this tree for one night? If so, you could use Biscotti or those coffee flavored swizzle sticks for decoration. Coffee bean garland would be fun, but might be hard to string together. You could take photographs of coffe cups, mugs, and tea pots and have them transfered onto a glass ornament. Check around at craft fairs for coffee and tea themed items, and for people who actually do the image transfers onto ornaments. There are a lot of places and people who will do that. Good luck!

Maybe coffee cup shaped decorated sugar cookie ornaments. You could somehow use those fancy coffee stickers, like they have at starbucks, that shows the type of coffee bean. I really wish I could come up with a way to do a coffee bean garland. I liked the styrofoam ball idea!! I'll do that myself!! maybe you could string a series of very small, coffee bean covered styrofoam balls. Good luck and have fun!

Sew tea bags together with ribbon and hang.
String coffee beans [ easier said than done - need a thimble ]
String sugar cubes
hang decorated [ iced or sugared ] cookies with red ribbons
angels with coffee filter skirts and wings, hung with gold ribbons
flavorings - dipped spoons, cinnamon sticks with striped ribbons, oranges studded with cloves, peppermint sticks or canes tied on with green ribbon
miniature coffee and tea cup/pot ornaments

Take a basket shaped coffee filter, fold it in half, and then fold in half again, cut little shapes out of the side and when you open it up you will have coffee filter snowflakes.

Take a spoon (get a bunch cheap at a Goodwill) and dip the end in glue, and then in white glitter to look like sugar on the end. Attach a ribbon and hang on the tree.
