I have a shelving unit in my new office that is about 8 feet tall. It is full of binders that need to be there. There are about 2 (out of 6) shelves that are empty. I have an idea of that to do with those shelves BUT....I can't figure out what to do with the top of the unit??? Any thoughts other than a plant?

I had cut down some dead and dying pine trees around my home a few onths ago. They have been sitting as I have not been able to have them removed. They've become since become the main course for some boring beetle larvae. I can hear them chewing the wood, and see the piles of sawdust around the trunks. I have even seen a few of the beetles about. Should I be worried about them infesting my home? It's about 30 feet from the downed trees. What I really need to know is is my house at a greater risk because of the downed trees near it?

I know that I am not supposed to add ANY fertilizer, which i understand and respect, but this is really the simplest solution I could find. On the original VFT package it said to transplant using soil "similar to african violet mix" would it still be ok to use?

I received a plant as a gift. It has large, rubbery green leaves with curvy-serrated leaves (oval shaped, pointed at the end) and long-stemmed clusters of small orange flowers. Does anyone know what sort of plant this might be, and possibly some care guidelines?

I got my new gym sneaker's dirty and washed them. I hung them outside to dry and it rained. I guess the rain made them smell musty. What should I do to get rid of the smell?

I painted my kitchen olive green a few months ago and today I decided I wanted a red accent wall, so I painted it Roasted Tomato...I want it to match my pottery and rug that I purchased while we were stationed in Italy. My table is white tile top and my cabinets are a darker brown. Do you think these 2 colors work well with each other, and please dont tell me to get tan, taupe, beige...i cant stand brown.
