You need to move. That's how to get rid of them. When you pack...just leave with the clothes on your back..they are everywhere and you'll end up just taking them with you!

bombing will only help for a short time when there are cracks that the mist does not penetrate, no matter what the commercials say. You need to caulk the space between the cabinets and walls... also if there is carpeting near the kitchen, they will hide there, so make sure that you spray the edges well.
Citrus oil based cleaning supplies will help keep them off of surfaces and soaking the spaces with the CO supplies will not cause a stench in the apartment.
I had the same issue at my place, complex is bad for it.
If you go to home depot, there is a spray foam that expands to fill cracks, use this for places that have big gaps where they can hide, it is paintable, so you can smooth it after it dries and then paint over it so it is not an eyesore.

They are pesty, but remember roaches thrive on humid areas, and where ever there is food. So keep your areas clean and dry.
DEFINATELY call a professional to get rid of them - you will waste your money on the bombs as they are constantly laying eggs and I do not think the bombs that you buy at hardware stores are strong enough to kill them after the bomb is let off.
The professionals spray a light insecticide that will kill them continuously for a month or two
Hope this helps

scroll down to cockroaches. There is excellent advice here. Boric acid in baits is pretty darn good, plus you can sprinkle the dry powder in corners, etc. Sanitation is critical as cockroaches follow the smell of their brothers and sisters....you are going to have to scrub from top to bottom and use the the baits.
If you are vigilant, you can knock them out without having to go with a pesticide applicator. If you go with a PA, seek one that uses alternative, less toxic methods. A lot of roach control isn't necessary and exposes you to more chemicals than you need in your life. IF you are in an apartment or have neighbors who were like your messy guy...........you may be fighting the neighborhood, not just your own personal bugs.

Unless you are anal about cleaning you may never get rid of them! My mom has had them for years we have sprayed cleaned dozens of times I believe once you have them they are there to stay. One way I know that works supposedly is they put a tent over the building and spray the whole damn thing, Pretty costly though. Remember these little bugs have been around for hundreds of years. And will be still be around after us more than likely they are resillient. Good Luck!!
