that could be sold or given away to someone who would really need it or use it? I have watched these shows when they take stuff out of houses just destroy it instead of passing on the good sense to the world about recycling.
Did you notice they also have ugly stuff to say about "This outdated 1950's home will be changed into a sleek new look."
Then the next program says "This home will be changed into a beautiful 1950's look!"
I guess I am just getting old and cranky! But it just seems like all these people on all these shows try to act so 'uppity' or 'with it' or something. What happened to common sense? Where did all the REAL people go?

Some of the surface in my yard is uneven. What is the best way to make sure the stones are not wobbly or that they do not crack or break over time?

My plants roots are drowning and rotting away because I have clay soil further down below the flower beds, i dug out about 15cms of the soil, removed the clay lumps and mixed the soil with compost through a garden seive to remove rocks.

In heavy rain (which we seem to be palgued with recently) it fills with water and has killed off a lot of my plants.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I am planning to insulate 3 flats. They currently have low ceilings, but I wish to restore them to original height (less about 1 foot for insulation). Total area of flats are about 700 square foot each. I have had quote for £ 5300 to remove old low ceilings, create new ceilings with Rockwool insulation and then the celings will be skimmed. Is it decent price?

Something appears to be eating it but I cannot find any small caterpillars in the bush. The plant is normally outside during the day and inside at night........ with a healthy supply of slug pellets down, it's not slugs or snails!
