A lot of the local newspapers will let you have free advertisement for such stuff . You could call your local newspapers or check with your city chamber of commerce for agencies that provide help for people in need . Many people do such work for free , the old saying " it is better to give than to receive has always stood the test .

I doubt many people would mow your yard for free nowadays. The only thing would be like a trade with a neighbor, have them mow your yard but youd need to do something for them. I mow my nieghbors front yard for free, only cause she doesnt have time, its small and it looks better cutting them both in the same pattern .
