We are in the process of removing Wheat paste from the wall in our kitchen so we can paint it how do we remove it, it was under some rather ugly wall papaer.

Remember this is in the kitchen where food is being prepare three times a day.

Get a hand sprayer and give the wall a good soaking with water, wait a few minutes for it to soak in and scrap it off with a 4 to 6 inch flat trowel . Have a bucket of soapy water and a big sponge to get what the trowel misses . Change your water often , as it will build up with the paste .You might have to do this a couple of times to get it real clean .
