I am decorating my room and we have stripped the wallpaper off the walls, sanded them down, and painting it with a white undercoat, but the thing is in some places the paint seems to be cracking only on the concrete walls though. Why is this happening ??

I have a bathroom window big sized. My brother painted around the sills or whatever you call it, and it's now sealed shut the last 3 hottest months. There is no fan or air conditioning in the bathroom, and he comes over does his #1,2 and the toilet doesn't work, so it's non flushable. This is not his room, and I have told him to unseal the window or break the glass or something for air and told him not to go to the bathroom in there.

Is he sick or crazy. I need help. Who do I call to undo the window?

Do I have to seal the floor first? If so how? If I don't want to go the hassle of sealing, should I choose a glue on tile?

A lot of mushrooms grow on my backyard and frontyard. There are a lot of cats on my neighborhood.
I was asking a friend if those mushroom could be edible, she tells me they are toxic, and they are a result from cat pee.

Could this be true?

I have some plastic seats from an old football ground and I want to put them in my garden. However some are covered in limescale from years of being only partially covered. I have tried every limescale removing product I can find from Viakal to a very strong liquid I bought from Screwfix but nothing will shift it. I tried scraping and that shifts it a bit but I ruined one of the seats that way. I can't think of anything else that will get rid of the stuff. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

My toilet was not flushing, so we thought it must be stopped up so We took the toilet up from the floor and cleaned it out, well we washed it out and nothing came out. After running a water hose in it for 25 minutes it worked really good while it was still outside. So we bring it back into the house and hook it up, and then I try to flush it and it still doesnt work good. Like sometimes it will flush and other times it wont even flush, seems like one time it flushes then the next time it wont flush. What is wrong with my toilet?

In the home in which I live, the air conditioning has sortof randomly stopped working. I live in Arizona, so it's like... really hot. xD

Before I go and spend money to have it checked out, is there anything I can check myself to maybe get it working??

Half of the vents in the house are blowing air out, but not very cold, and not very much of it. The others only have like a slight draft coming out of them. I have the AC turned all the way down, and have tried different settings, without any change.

Any suggestions?

its because it heats food faster for example. heating a casserole, it takes 5 minutes on medium, 3 minutes on medium high and probably 1 minute for high. so is it safe to do it that way or will it brake it in the long term?

Hi everyone, I was given some wheeping trees, rose of sharons and some bushes they were very carefully dug up the roots were left in soil and they were replanted within in hour of them being dug up. I watered them very well after replanting and fertilized them, but over this last week and a half that i have had them the rose of sharons the leaves have gone from green to yellow to brown they still have some flowers but not like when i first got them, the one wheeping tree the leaves have turned completly brown the other one the leaves are turning yellow. Does anyone know why this is happening? And does anyone know what i can do to save them? Is there something that i did wrong or that i am not doing? Will they come back next year? I spoke to someone at a nursery and she told me to leave them that they probably have septic shock? Does anyone know anything about that? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

We have tons of wild bamboo growing in the back yard and I want some in pots as decoration inside. How do you replant from a mother stalk? The roots, from what I've seen, are nearly impossible to pull up/yank. There has got to be an easier way!
And by the way, most links I click are firewalled (work computer), so if someone knows right off the top of their head, I'd be greatful....

Once i saw a science fair project in at my school. It was a small Pump that was made with a DC motor. It was really small (about two inches long and a inch wide) and it only needed a 3v battery to run.

It was used to pump water from one glass to another glass in the project.

Can anyone tell me how to make one pump like that?

Even though I throw mine in the washer with bleach and wash them throughly several times I hear they sustain lots of germs and bacteria. Is that true? Plus they get bulky in the laundry. This past weekend I threw away ALL the old pillows in the house and bought new ones. Yay!
