how comfortable are bunk beds for college students. cons being everyone wakes up and goes to bed at different?

Depends on the mattress on the bunk bed.

Depends on quite a few things. One is how tall you are (will your feet hang over the end?) Another is how deep you sleep (will the movements of the other person above you or below you keep you awake?) Are you claustrophobic? (if you have the bottom bunk) If snoring bothers you it won't matter if you are in a bunk bed or two separate beds.
