I have a lot too, all sorts of sizes and colors. One dropped on me the other night from my ceiling fan! Ugh! I didn't know what it was at first! It's getting cooler now and they are starting to come inside to find a warm place to live. I always check my ceilings and walls before I go to bed, don't want them crawling on me in bed!

I have noticed the same thing. The nights are getting cooler and they are thinking that inside is a better deal than outside when winters come.
I don't like using insecticides, but because the spiders get so bad I do. I use a little handspreader and granular gardening insecticide and spread it around the parimeter of the house (just 12-18 inches wide). If I do this through the summer, the spiders stay out of the house.

Yes, it's due to the rain we've had. Get some Ortho Home Defense spray and use that. I have done it twice in the past 3 weeks and it's finally reducing the populations. I did the outside perimeter and then inside along baseboards and also under the sinks.

Wow, that is a lot. Well, obviously Mom was in there earlier and left a nice nest somewhere and the hatchlings survived. Plus the outside guys are coming in ...they know cold weather is coming.
Time to vacuum more often and in out-of-the-way areas where the spiders are hiding. No use poisoning yourself, just vacuum more.

Nah, just have a few here and there. Some are good spiders cause they kill other insects that are not supposed to be there, so I give them their space. They make good pets.

Try to find where they are coming in and use a mixture of citronella and water. If it is near a wall, wipe it down with cloth spritzed with the mixture.

No. I have no bugs. i use bengal roach spray that comes in a red and gold spray can. Find it at walmart, home depot or lowes. They will be gone overnight. And spray annually for maintenance. It will kill all kindsof bugs. have been using for 10 years now. Swear by it.
