I had cut down some dead and dying pine trees around my home a few onths ago. They have been sitting as I have not been able to have them removed. They've become since become the main course for some boring beetle larvae. I can hear them chewing the wood, and see the piles of sawdust around the trunks. I have even seen a few of the beetles about. Should I be worried about them infesting my home? It's about 30 feet from the downed trees. What I really need to know is is my house at a greater risk because of the downed trees near it?

They sure as hell will infest your other trees.
If you have a pile of wood, snakes love 'em.
