the cold tap still works, both hot and cold come outa the same tap but now no hot. what is the prob and how is it fixed??

i have noticed that my yankee candles are having a lot of waste at the end of the burn time. I do use a shade on the top but I still see about a good 1/2" of candle that has not burned. What is the problem?????

we bought a Snapper lawn mower for $500 but it's pure crap. Engine takes 10 min to start and it's heavy and crappy. and engine shuts off frequently.

So what's a good lawn mower???? want something with an easy button start and doesn't die while mowing high grass.

I have a few huge bees outside that fly around when I try to do anything in my front yard. I'm allergic so I can't just rely on leaving them alone. I don't want to kill them, so is there anything I can buy or do that will make them leave my yard?

Left town and forgot about some leftover cooked shrimp.
We've tried baking soda, scrubbing with lemon juice but it just won't go away. It has infiltrated the ice maker. Bought a special "ordor killer" product from Sharper Image, still no luck.

I am perhaps the most disorganized person I have ever met. My car is full of millions of half empty water bottles and old school papers, and I just cannot keep it together in my house. I am a 23 year old college student. I live in a small house with my boyfriend and our two dogs. I have lived here about 2 1/2 years. Prior to this I lived with my parents or in a sorority so I have never really had to be responsible for something like this. I could never even keep just my room clean as a child. My house gets messy sooooo fast and then I just feel so frustrated and overwhelmed that I don't even know where to start . Any tips... I know it's ridiculous... like you just wanna smack me and say,"Just do it!" Please skip those comments... I 'm really looking for some ideas here. Any kind of ideas..... I'm not just a lazy person... I do a gagillion hours of homework and work and take care of other things... I'm just insanely out of control with this.... help!

Sometimes we are cleaning out the entire pantry a couple of times a week. We spray/kill the roaches, scrub everything down with soapy water, and then restock. Within days and sometimes even hours, we have a new roach "tenant". Roach motels don't work. Is there any natural way to keep them out of there?

We are going to start putting everything in plastic containers, but as it is, there is no OPEN food in there - just cans and pre-wrapped stuff. I know I could seal the house better so they don't get in at all, but in lieu of that - is there any other effective way to ward them off? Like a little roach scarecrow or something? :)

1) your outfit is a brand new snow white colored long swede skirt suit and matching boots

I bought some seeds (for flowers and plants) from walmart and on ebay. There are no expiration dates on any of them and I dont' want to use all of them.

Do seeds actually expire? If I sow my seeds two years from now, will it still work?

I just bought a small flower in a pot from wal-mart and it's an annaul flower. If I plant it in my yard does this mean it will only last for one year? Will it re-seed itself for next year or does this mean I would have to keep buying this flower or seeds if I want this flower to bloom every year?

Can someone please explain.. I am a beginner in this whole gardening thing and the annual, perennial whole thing is kind of confusing to me!

I live in Alabama and I am wanting to plant my spring flowers. I have a flower bed in the front of my house that runs about 3-4'. I want to fill it with a plant that blooms in the spring but that also keeps good greenary well into early fall. Do you know of a plant that does this?
