Sometimes we are cleaning out the entire pantry a couple of times a week. We spray/kill the roaches, scrub everything down with soapy water, and then restock. Within days and sometimes even hours, we have a new roach "tenant". Roach motels don't work. Is there any natural way to keep them out of there?

We are going to start putting everything in plastic containers, but as it is, there is no OPEN food in there - just cans and pre-wrapped stuff. I know I could seal the house better so they don't get in at all, but in lieu of that - is there any other effective way to ward them off? Like a little roach scarecrow or something? :)

Spread your yard with roach insecticide. Put a little sign in your cabinets that says, "Roaches not invited", but write the sign in roach language. When they read the sign, the roaches will vacate the premesis.

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them.

You need to hire the bug man to come out and do it.
