I have fitted roller blinds to the front of my caravan, but the window has a slope away from the inside of the frame so that the blinds hang straight down, they do not actually cover the window there is a gap of about 6inches at the bottom..
I cannot figure out a way to hold them close to the glass.
i have tried fixing them upside down, but that did not work.
I cannot fasten anything across the width as there is also a curve on the front of the van.
Any bright suggestions ?

my voltage reading before the main breaker is 240volts. I have a 125 volt reading on one buss to ground/neutral and 105 volt reading on the other buss to ground/neutral. I have disconnected all of the circuits from low voltage buss and still get the same readings. When I connect a 120 volt circuit to the low voltage buss and then turn the breaker on, I then measure 0 volts from that breaker to groung/neutral.

I'm switching from a recirculating fan to an outside-venting hood in my kitchen, but I need someone to run the ductwork. Any recommendations? It's a fairly small job, only going about 6 feet with a single 90degree angle I believe, punching through the ceiling and then out through the exterior wall and aluminum siding.

Here is the problem, i watch 2 little kids and their parents came to me and said there is a strong odor coming from my house. They aren't sure what it is and I must be so used to it i don't smell anything. The mom said she started noticing it when we got a dog, the dad said it smells like mildew/musty. So the question is how do i get rid of a smell that i don't know the cause of. I deep cleaned the whole main floor of my house and part of the basement. Is there anything i can use/do to get rid of odor?

I am looking for suggestions on how to deal with my neighbor's yard and trash, which has become a huge eyesore. In front of the house, "trash" sits because the trash people will not pick up large, broken glass tabletops, rotting sofas, used mattresses, broken exercise equipment, or broken bicycles (all currently in front of the house). This is not a new thing. In the past, TVs, microwaves, transmissions, computer equipment, dead lawnmowers, mattresses, etc. have been left and not picked up. Once there was a small fire there, and clothing was thrown out a window and landed on a tree. For the next seven months, the "clothes tree" kept its shirts and pants. Meanwhile, the owner told me how lucky he was that he had so much insurance on the house. Soon after, new electronics (inc. huge TV) came in; the tree kept its clothes.

Just as bad is the yard garbage: old broken plastic chairs, torn banners, rolls of rusty fencing, used tires, unused lumber strewn across the yard,....

Help, pls!

This is my first spring in a house with a garden and I have no idea what I'm doing!
The garden has a lawn, a huge evergreen bush, a pond with two fish, bedding areas, a patio with moss all over it and a spot at the bottom that I thought would make a nice vegetable/fruit patch.

So....

How often do I cut the lawn?
How often do I trim the hedge?
Do the fish need feeding?
When do I plant stuff?
How do I prepare a vegetable patch?
How do I get rid of the moss?

Lots of questions I know! Can anyone help me?

Hi- My daughter threw up on our marble floor in the bathroom and it has taken the gloss off the finish of the marble. Do I have to use a honing/ sanding marble powder or do you think a marble sealer/polish will be enough to restore the shine. Can anyone recommend any particular product?

a horticulturist has recently done this and states publicly that there in no appreciable difference to his blooms. There is so much info about rose pruning one is apt to get confused especially as there are so many types, hybrid tea.floribunda. standards, bushes, shrubs, climbers, ramblers, French, English and others, all, we are told should be pruned differently. Its a bit confusing ain't it. I am leaning towards the chainsaw method as the bloke next door hasn't a clue yet his roses are as good as mine, after I've spent hour after hour slight pruning in Autumn to prevent wind 'rock', full pruning about now to an outfacing bud at an angle to prevent rain steeping into stem causing die back. Are we being conned
by the so called experts? or is whackin e'm off with a chainsaw a more expedient way? I'm a bit of a coward and
cannot bring myselt to such drastic action. What are your views roselovers?

My future husband and I just purchased our first home. The home is a small cape cod-936 sq ft. It already has forced air, a brand new furnace, and all the duct work is already in place. With that in mind, what would it cost to add central air?
