It depends on what kind of property you have!! If it it is only a one bedroom flat/house that would suit a young professional person who is not fussed at not having a bath than no it won't really make much difference to the price/value of the house if you intend to sell later on. However if the house is a 2/3/4 bedroom house aimed at families than yes it will devalue the house because people with young children will need a bath in order to bathe their children! You can't exactly clean young children in a shower!!

Well it depends on a lot of issues. If it is the only bathroom in the house. Yes removing the tub will reduce resale value of the house, and cause problems in selling. If it is the master bath it can have a minor affect on resale. However if it is the extra bath then you shouldn't have too many problems.

I just did the same. It added soooo much more room. I have more comments from friends on how great it looks. I wouldn't want it any other way. We do however have a second bathroom in which I installed a clawfoot tub for soaking and lounging in. That would make it ideal, if you have a second bath. If not though, it is still considered a full bath and will not depriciate your homes value.

Have you considered a bath/shower? Ad a shower into the current bath you have but still be able to bath. A bath And shower will raise your homes value if you sell.

Yes. I suggest fitting shower taps onto the bath. It creates a good shower and then people who live in the house after you can decide whether they want a bath or a shower! It's a great option, and you can get shower taps really cheap! Good Luck.

We just did this very thing, and we love the results, However- You will have to take into consideration, if you have another "bath"room. We do, so we could.
Others may not like just a shower in the entire house. Especially if they are bathing children.

I would say most certainly. Showers are very popular but the majority of people still want to have a bath in their house. I know I definitely would.

yes the value will drop without a bath, why not fit a shower over the bath so with a bath and shower the value will increase

in terms of energy costs you'll find having a shower is significantly cheaper. you can pretty much have around ten showers to each bath and if its an instant shower you dont need to wait for the immersion/hot water for a shower

Yup, everywhere in the physique. It would not purely make you sense pampered, it prevents your dermis from becoming older too quickly. i've got tried Nivea extensive care, Jergen's extremely therapeutic, and the St. Ive's line of creams. You scent good and sense gentle, on the comparable time hypoallergenic.
