all of my azaleas are planted in the same spot, they all get the same amount of morning sun and the same amounts of fertilizers and water. They all flower at different times, why is this so?

They flower at different times because of their individual ages. Sprinkle epsom salts around the drip line, inexpensive and effective fertilizer. Do not pinch off buds as the Hobby Gardener suggested Azaleas set buds after blooming. Let them bloom on their own, then prune back by 1/3 for more blooms next season. You can augment your bloom by adding Bloom Booster (a MiracleGro product) and be amazed.

Different varieties? Or are they the same variety of azalea?

pinch your flowers off for a while, and don't give it extra nutrients at this time. Once you start to give it nutrients again it will want to bloom at every tip. Stop and pinch for one month at least.
