I have deep red couches and a two yellow walls, they're actually a golden feux venetian plaster finish. Black bookcases and a black fire place. The original walls are khaki colored, and they were ok until i did the two golden walls, now they just look unfinished. What color can i paint them without taking away from the fire place or the venetian wall? Those are my main focus points.

Currently I leave the towels to dry out until get enough for a full load. I was wondering if it is better to keep them wet until laundering - though it may be a bit foul by then.

This stain is really stubborn! I’ve tried doing what my mother in law told me she said to soak it in olive oil. That didn’t work. Then I looked around online, I found several websites showing me how to remove stains. Baking soda, Lemon juice, club soda, cooking it with a bar of soap. Nothing works!! Should I just throw away her dress or is there something out there that can help?? --- I probably sound dumb for not just throwing it away…. But it is her favorite dress…I mean she literally sleeps with it next to her.

If it's rainy, or snow is melting, my heating vents in the floor fill with water. My house is on a slab, so there's no basement or crawl space. I'm not even sure who to call about this. After a couple of days of the water being there, it gets "mildewy" inside, and extremely humid. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I filed a claim with the insurance and they are listing it as water damage and I was told that if the mold was spread out they could take my home. We still owe over $5000 so it makes me wonder if they will provide us somewhere else to live? I don't even know if this is the bad mold but from looking on the net, I would have to say it is. And it is in other rooms of the house (I checked). It's so gross but I was told not to clean it until they look at it which will be in 2-3 days. What should I do? Besides move.

they both just died. Does anybody know why? I think the plant is called a Coleus, but I'm not too sure, it has dark purple and bright green in its leaves. There has been a change in weather here, we are going into winter faster than we usually do,I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it? (I've posted a photo of the plant on my 360).

because it absorbs moisture and contracts and expands in the weather I've heard of granite cracking along the fissures when this happens.
