Sorry, but the best defense is a good offense - Don't let them do it in your car or home!

"Smoke" is a combustion by product. Some of these chemicals are sticky and will cling easily to surfaces. If someone must smoke inside, you'll have to have a range hood that really vents outside, and have them smoke there. Cars are not that easy as the smoke can just pop in another window or intake vent, or not at all when at a stop.

I'm allergic to the smoke. Also, I have heard that the smoke will mess up the computer in your car. I don't think there are any good smelling cigs but, I do like to smell a cherry cigar, as long as the smoker is at a distance.

personally i don't smoke inside the house because i know that it will stick to everything. i find that washing my hands after smoking will also lessen the smell. i burn insence and candles for the smells too. keeping your house clean such as wiping countertops, vacuuming and even the dust on the blinds helps alot too. empty the ashtrays often and throw them in the dishwasher now and again. it creates less dust and dirt particles for the smell to stick to.
i also smoke cloves (Djarum Splash) because they smell better and don't make my throat as dried out. I can't smoke regular cigs. good luck.
