I have checked and double checked and cant find any rose with Jasmin in the name. Why don't you buy winter and summer flowering Jasmin and plant them both together then you'll have flowers almost all year.
I'm sorry your cat has died, i have 3 myself and would hate to lose them.
Gardner 30 odd years.

Don't know of a Rose named Jasmine, but Jasmine is coming into season right now....mine is poppin' buds every day. When this 4' tall 5' round baby blooms, the aroma spreads throughout the property. The Blue Birds started building their nests in it a few days ago. "Cat Paradise" living or not...wouldn't you say? Go out and pick one up at a good Nursery this weekend or get on the list to pick up the first shipment. Jasmine is an amazingly simple plant to keep.

You have been told Wrong !!!

Why not purchase a Winter Jasmine I have a couple in flower at this moment they have a beautiful yellow flower just what we need this time of year to herald the coming of spring and all the other flower
It is a nice shrub happy in a tub or in the ground,
Take a look on line if you use Google just enter Winter Jasmine and enjoy

Why not hold onto kitty's ashes until jasmine comes into season, or just bury her and then plant the jasmine when you can get some? You may have to treat it as an annual depending on your zone, but it will be a labor of love every year.

There is a hardy plant that will come up again and again and spread if you plant it outside called Live Forevers. They will grow indoors also. It has little purple flowers.
