I bought them yesterday but when I planted them I realized there was no label for them.

We have a glass shower screen on our bath so that we can also have a shower. It is one that you can open to help clean the bath.

However - it has got to the point when the seal at the bottom of the screen is not water tight, so whenever we have a shower, a puddle of water collects beside the bath on the floor as it leaks between the door and the bath.

I want to still be able to open and close the screen - any ideas about what I can do to stop the leak?!

Thanks!

It seems like I've tried everything and either they don't die and come back to the same spot or re-build in another spot a couple of feet away. Please help.

The kitchen & living room are one big room so I have to be careful what I use. Oak laminate flooring, stainless steel appliances, white cupboards with granite looking counter top. Curtains in the living room are gold colour.

I've got an old US Army Men's Cold-Weather Field Coat that needs washing in the worst possible way. Any advice, or can I just toss it in the washer on cold and dryer on medium?

I am American. I love the show "How Clean Is Your House?" with Kim and Aggie. They are hilarious and quite sensible. They have a lot of good ideas but when they mix their potions I don't know what they are talking about. I don't recognize the products because British brands are different.

Bicarb of soda I think is baking soda.
Washing up liquid is dishwashing liquid for dishes by hand.

What is washing soda?
What is biological washing soda?
What is ammonia bleach?
Any others that fluent Brit-Americans would know can cause confusion in the cleaning closet?

I want to replace a light switch which is 1 way, but the switch I have on there currently is two way. I will not be using the other 2nd light switch. Which wires then do I need to use, as the new switch has two holes, whilst currently i have three wires sticking out of the wall (2 reds + 1 Black)? I appreciate your help. Thank you.

Is it best to pull the shower curtain completely closed, leaving about six inches between the shower curtain rod and the ceiling for air flow. Or is it better to leave the sides of the shower curtain open a foot or two to better allow for the water vapor to dissipate. The thinking behind closing the shower curtain all the way, is so the water will run down the curtain and down the drain.

Why won't my orchids open? Is it too much water, not enough? Too much sun, not enough? The buds have been there for over two weeks but just won't open, is it something I'm doing wrong or not doing that I should? Appreciate help from anyone who knows or grows them.

My neighbour has two Ash trees growing against the boundary fence. I've been told that hammering half a doz copper nails into each tree will slowly kill them. Does anyone know if this is true or just an old wife's tail. Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting rid of them. Do not suggest that I ask my neighbour to get rid of them as he is quite unapproachable.
