salt will take out the water stains , mix just a few drops of water with salt to make a paste , rub on and use dry cloth to wipe off

Try Howard Restor-A-Finish it is good for white rings, scratches,etc.It comes in a lot of colors just match it up.All you do is wipe it on then wipe it off. Great stuff.

I found that W-D40 will lighten the stain and sometimes remove it.
