every day like 5 squirrels come hanging around my backyard and keep eating my fruits and veggies i have growing... and they bug the heck out of my inside dogs.
i do let the dogs out sometimes to scare them.. but they just keep coming back.

i dont want to hurt the little ones.. i just dont want them to come into my backyard...
ive tried buying fake owls that make noise... ive tried some stupid little bags that have some sort of sent.... nothing seams to work....

if anyone out there has any ideas about a safe/natural way to get rid of them i would be so appreciative.

thank you in advance.

My dad is on a "let's make the yard pretty" kick, and a koi pond has weedled it's way into the picture. Problem is that we have NO idea of even where to start.

Should we get one f those plastic ponds or a pond liner? How big would it need to be to support half a dozen koi?

What do we need to know before we really get started?

And, a big important question, where do quality koi come from? I don't THINK the petstore would have them, and if hey did I deffinantly don't think they'd be very healthy.

I am a novice gardener and last summer I planted perennials. Is there anything I should do to help them become the beautiful plants that they are.

What's better in poor, well-draining soil: rosemary or tarragon? I'm looking for a companion for my lavender, and since lavender grows best in what seems like abusive conditions, I want to know what would be better planted with it.

I have a small front garden with shade early morning and full sun mid morning to evening. The soil here is dry and not very fertile. We also have very strong winds a lot. I am looking for something that requires little care and looks nice. I dont want anything that will get too big/tall. I would like something with a lot of color. Be it flowers or the leaves themselves. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have just moved in with my dad a couple of weeks ago. My next door neighbour bedroom is on the other side of mine ( if u know what i mean) well for the past 5 day AND nights he has been hammering constantly, in the night he has also been drilling against my wall from midnight - 3am - for the last 5 nights. also at night he wonders in and out of his shed. the door of his shed has loads of locks on the front. also around 10pm every night i can here whistling, not whistling a tune more whistling for attention, cracks at the top corner of my bedroom wall which joins onto his are starting to appear. Do you think he could be spying on me? He always starts the banging when my bedroom light goes off. and he is on his door step when i leave the house. what do u guys think ?

Mine have turned from a nice white to a dirty gray but I'm afraid that simple washing would deform them - they are proffesional and expensive!

We're stuck on step 4. With 2 adults pulling, we're almost there, it is not reaching by like 5 cms. Is there a trick to stretch the belt further out? We've already unscrewed the motor so it's tension free, but we can't move it that much. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS.

I have read similar questions and answers from the archives. & Used what tips were offered. I've tried drano & it does not do anything. It simply sits there. Water too. When attempting to use the garbage disposal it just spits up bubbles on each side. I've taken apart both "u" shaped pipes under the sink & there appeared to be no obstruction to cause this slow drainage. Though when loosening the nuts the water drained from them and into the bucket leading me to beleive that, that is not where my problem lies. HELP!

I have purchased a property with a large garden that is full of raspberry bushes. Unfortunately I need to use some of the land for off road parking and would like to move the raspberry bushes. I am hoping to dig them up and then pot them to replant later in the year. Can any one please tell me what soil or fertilizer to use and is it possible to use the soil that they have been planted in?? Any tips and advice would be a great help. Thanks Buster.
