You have 100 Amp service. What you see is a 240VAC breaker rated at 100Amps. This is NOT 100Amps per 120VAC leg. This is a common mistake and I have tried to explain emphatically to people that a 2-pole breaker that says 100Amps and joined by a plastic bar is NOT two single pole 100Amp breakers.

I have seen the plastic bar removed from lower rated breakers (usually 20Amps) so people can get single legs but the rating goes down to 10Amps, so it's better to replace with correct sizes.

Some 2-pole breakers now only have one switch controlling both legs to prevent tampering, which is a good idea -this also ends confusion.

You have a one Hundred amp service Thats is it is one hundred amps per leg or breaker ...all systems are two pole with ground,,what that means is that you have two one hundred amp circuits one on each pole..... No matter what these other people are saying each side of that braker does deliver 100 amp of power from one pole or line but no matter what you cannot go over one hundred amps whether using 125volt breakers or using 230 volt brakers which means you can use 100 amps per line.....most modern homes have 200 amp breakers and they have three items which use ninety percent of that power alone the furnace uses 90 amps,,electric range uses 40 amps, water heater uses 30 amps , electric dryer uses 30 amps so if what everyone else says is true then during winter you couldn't use anything in your house if those items where on at the same time because that adds up to 190 amps so that shows you that it means 200 amps per line or in your case 100 amps per line..but it is still just a 100 amp service.

I would say 100 Amp service. It is the common size. A 200 Amp service would have two 200 amp breakers.

100 Amp service. Just like mine here at the office (double checked a second ago).

Mine is a Siemens EQ9675 link below is their PDF with descriptions... It is for a 100 amp panel

---- EDIT ----
This site explains how Main Breakers get labeled...

I'd say you had 200 Amp service because you have a combined 100 Amp on each side of your 220 volt connection to the electric company for a total of 200 Amps. Half of your service panel has circuit breakers for one 100 Amp, 110 VAC supply and the other half has circuit breakers for another 100 Amp 110 VAC supply. A 220 VAC breaker connects between both sides to use equal amounts of both power supplies.
