Break and egg and save the shell so that each half makes a little cup. Place the shells in you garden and fill them with beer.

Slugs Love beer and will fall in and drown. I don't know why this works but it does.

Diatomaceous Earth is what you need.. It works by piercing the exoskeleton of snails and slugs causing death by dehydration.. It is safe for the environment and is 100% organic. The Home and Garden stores, Farm stores or nursery would have what you need. I used to get a powder, I think it is Slug Be Gone, something like that.

I like to use a mix of cayenne pepper, garlic salt, black pepper - hot sauce - etc - anything spicy and hot - it keeps all kinds of bugs away - have to re-apply after each rain - just mix a gallon or 2 of water in a sprayer and mix heavily with spices - then apply heavily to plants so that a good residue of hot and spicy is left on the pants and mulch material- I have used on every type of plant - works well, with no dead bugs to have to deal with.

you can use some liquid hand soap diluted in water and water the garden.note that the hand soap must not be hand sanitizers just plain old liquid hand soap. it works well for orchids
