Either dig them up, or cut them to surface level, 2 times a week til they rot.

Round-up or wipe-out will get rid of them for good. Be careful that you only spray the onions/garlic!

If they are in your lawn you can use weed'n'feed. There are many lawn fertilizers that will also kill weeds.

If they are mixed with other plants, the only thing you can do is to pull them. It may take a while to completely eradicate them.

I seriously doubt you have garlic in your lawn. It's probably nut grass. Take some to your garden center. They have stuff to kill it. DO NOT PULL IT! It grows from a tuber, and each piece of the tuber will reproduce.

I think the better question would be why would you want to kill those beautiful vegetables/herbs. I personally think you must be blessed as those two things are used in most every recipe I have. If I were you I'd go out and pray to the onion and garlic gods that they never disappear.

We sprayed on weed killer. They have specific formulas for onion grass. It seemed to help a bit.

Killing is a SIN!! And you will go to HELL!!. Unless of course it is in self defence. I'd take 'em both out with a .12 guage but get the garlic first as they're the dangerous ones.
