My husband and I just purchased our first home. It currently has a newer almond fridge, a VERY old burgandy wall oven w/ countertop burners, and an older black dishwasher. We plan on taking out the wall oven and countertop burners and replacing them with a regular stove, and possibly purchasing a new dishwasher later. Now the question is, what finish should the stove be? We don't plan on living in this house more than ten years at the absolute maximum (probably closer to five). The fridge is so new, it seems like a waste of money to buy a new one. So should we buy an almond finish stove, and later a matching dishwasher? From watching many home improvement shows, I know stainless steel appliances add value to the home, but it's not worth a whole lot (we live in the middle of Missouri and are paying $110k for a 1700 sq. ft. home) and I wonder if putting them in would be upgrading the home too much for the neighborhood. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When the repair man came he found nothing wrong with it even though it got hot enough and smoked we had to shut off breaker to it. We ran it again and only 1 time did it smell hot. The washer is only about 2 years old. We have taken it apart and can find nothing at all. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have been looking for leather scented candles and can not find them anywhere. Anyone know where I can get some or if any candle shops sell them. Found one place online but rather pick it out in person to make sure the smell is right. I am in Connecticut if anyone knows of anyplace in Connecitcut let me know or anywhere online where you can get an order form to order them.

I am considering electric tankless water heaters for each of my 28 2-bedroom 1 bath apartments. What type is recommended? I don't want to recirculate the hot water. The hard water kills the 30-gal tank versions pretty fast plus I am trying to save my residents some money on their electricity bills. I have seen them priced from 350-2000 and would like to get by with as inexpnesive as practical (remember - 28 units lol) without buying junk. Is the Tankless1 a good make and model for this application?

it was about 1/16" when i put the seed in the pot about 1/2" deep. I keep it in warm dark place waiting to sprout.. when should i throw it out if it does not sprout?

I bought a lemon tree sapling from Walmart, it's blooming all over the place, but, the leaves are turning yellow and falling off! The lime tree sapling and the orange tree sapling are doing fine, however. What could be the cause?
