We have cleaned the inside and also pulled the machine apart and can find nothing. But everyday the first load smells terrible not the clothes themselves they are fine. We have 3 kids and do alot of laundry so it is not from sitting to much either

I also have a Frigidaire front load washer and I just went and smelled it. It smells fine. With three kids, I wash a lot of really dirty clothes. The only thing I can think of is something may be caught in that accordion-like ring in the front. Sometimes I will find things in there that need to be removed. I am pretty sure you have checked this already so you may need to call a repair person.

Nothing to be scared of. It has to do with the way you load your clothes. Try this: First try: Load only small clothes, like your undergarments, shirts, etc. Hold off on large items like bathrobes, bedsheets, bedcovers, terry towels etc...Try to run it. If it does not shake violently, then it is the large items that cause the problem. I am almost sure that's the case but I wanted you to do this so that you will not be so nervous. Now, load the large items. This time spread it evenly inside the washer. Make sure during a sping cycle these items do not "bunch up" to one side. You will see it works well this time too. Lesson: Spread your clothes, large or small, evenly within the washer. If you continue to operate in the present vibrating/violent shaking fashion the bearings will eventually burn out and it calls for a major repair. The care starts with you. There is nothing wrong with your washer.
