I think I like the look of the Eastern Hemlock or Tsuga Canadensis bettter than the Leyland,

I have heard from a nursery that the Leyland is prone to disease and other problems as well.

Need to pull slate up in the bathroom to reseal the floor, would love to be able to reuse the slate.
Is it easy to remove with out breakage, and if so what would be the best way to go about it all...Any advise would be appreciated.
Thank You.

i am very interested in the project in the link above.

main question: how much do you think all these materials would cost?

I'm in California and I'm looking to buy from Home Depot, or Lowes if that makes a difference.

Also, are there any other links to similar projects?

thanks!

First, let me say that I am NOT considering doing this. But I am curious about it. Since gasoline has a lower flash point than fuel oil (which is essentially diesel fuel) and it burns hotter than fuel oil, what would happen if gasoline was substituted for fuel oil in an oil fired furnace/boiler?

Any furnace experts out there have an idea about this? Again, I'm not going to do this. It's just an idle curiousity question.

Im a first time buyer, and i'm not really getting on well with the seller,

My completion day is tomorrow for the house and first things im going to do is take a gas and electric meter reading and then startup me with say NPower for example... but do i have to find out from the seller who her current provider is? or if i ring up someone like Npower can they take over the utility services and then do they notify whoever the current provider is?

I really dont want to have to ask the seller who she is with and im guessing thats not the way anyway because some people never even have contact with the seller its all through solicitors right?

animal sex you stumbled upon? I was just walking by and thought it was one roach...but I was surprised it was two.

BTW, they do it "doggie style".

Hey! It's nearly the end of Summer here in Australia and I can't wait for it to be over! Apparently it has been the hottest, driest Summer ever! Everyone has thousands of ants in their homes and workplaces and even frogs, lizards, etc (looking for water, poor things!).

I'm not a fan of Summer at the best of times. What do YOU hate about the hot weather?

My husband and I are looking into buying a new bed.

He's about 6'1" and I'm 5'9". He sleeps on his stomach or side, I sleep on my side. We both typically sleep with our arms up (his around his pillow, mine usually over my face), so I don't know how much width to allow. I'm normally pretty comfortable in narrow spaces (like sleeping on couches) but I think he needs more elbow room because of his pillow hugging.

At 73 inches, he should be just about short enough for our full sized bed (75 inches, according to what I've seen) but he always ends up with his feet hanging off the foot of the bed. That can't be healthy, can it?

I think that we should probably get a king sized bed. Which is the "normal" king size, Cal or eastern? Which is easier to get sheets and stuff for?

They are connected. There is one window in each room. The bathroom is very big. Probably bigger than the bedroom. One wall of the bedroom is sliding mirror doors on our closet. I bought a border from the Longaberger company called botanical fields. I plan to put it around the middle of the wall. It is a floral print with a scalloped edge on the bottom. The colors it in are greens, grays, pinks, purples, golds. The linoleum in my bathroom is white with some peach and lavender. My bedroom carpet is cream. I am going to need ideas for curtains in both rooms and for a comforter. The bedroom window is wider than a normal window and a little shorter. The bathroom window is regular size but has a arched glass piece above the window. I wasn't sure whether to paint the walls all one color or do one color above the border and one color below of if I should do both rooms the same color or different color. The border has kind of a basket weave print under the flowers and I am going to use a piece of a white picket fence for my headboard. I hope I have given enough info. Any help will be appreciated.

Can't I just hang my socks and underwear out the window while I drive? Every red light or so switch out and start a new cycle.
